Lincoln University knife attack: 1 student killed, 2 injured in dormitory attack

UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN, Pa. (WPVI) – A University of Lincoln student was killed and two others were injured in a stabbing inside a dorm, officials said.

The incident was first reported at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 1500 block of Baltimore Pike.

Campus police told Action News that three stabbing victims were taken to Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.

On Thursday morning, the Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced that a student had died.

Lincoln University released the following statement to Action News:

“We are deeply saddened by the incident that took place on campus last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. We take the safety of our students seriously and are working with local authorities as a investigation is ongoing. We have no further comment at this time.”

Helicopter 6 above campus showed police cars and an ambulance surrounding the scene.

Authorities were focused on a pile of debris on the lawn.
