Lenny Kravitz Releases Viral Brown Scarf for Singer’s TikTok Debut

Lenny Kravitz has joined TikTok, leaving fans delighted with his choice of outfit.

In her first-ever TikTok video, Kravitz heralds the arrival of the fall season, while wearing a fall-appropriate ensemble — including her viral oversized brown scarf.

“Grab your big scarf, it’s the first day of fall,” the “Rock and Roll is Dead” hitmaker said, showing off the accessory that has inspired countless memes since Kravitz was first seen times wear it.

On that fateful day in 2012, Kravitz was out running errands when he was photographed by paparazzi.

Soon after, the internet became obsessed with the singer’s scarf, as Kravitz joked it got “bigger and bigger” every year during a 2018 interview.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonhe explained the sequence of events that led the headscarf to become a mainstay of pop culture.

“I can’t escape it,” Kravitz said at the time. “I live in the Bahamas, I’m used to hot weather and I had to go to the store, I was running errands and I thought I would put on a little scarf to protect my throat, and that’s the scarf I had. »

“But Lenny, it’s not a scarf, it’s a blanket!” Fallon jokingly protested.

“That’s the day I thought I was going to reveal it, and I had no idea there would be paparazzi and now this is it,” Kravitz continued.

Although Carey’s application to trademark “Queen of Christmas” was denied, the singer is certainly the holiday’s unofficial ambassador — thanks to her hit “All I Want For Christmas.”

Kravitz’s follower count grew to over 100,000 users less than 24 hours after the video was posted.

Last November, Kravitz received the Fashion Icon gong at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) fashion awards.

Past recipients have included Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez.

The award was presented to Kravitz by Bradley Cooper, who introduced him on stage by saying, “There is no other musician alive today who wears leather and leopard like Lenny.” He perfected the art of personal style and created his own path.
