college football fans can rejoice because one of the faces of the sport will be back on its biggest stage on Saturday.
Lee Corso, who has been on ESPN’s “College GameDay” since 1987, will make his first appearance in a month on Saturday as the show travels to Bozeman, Montana, for an FCS game between the University of Montana and the state of Montana.
Broadcaster Chris Fowler announced Friday that Corso will return to “College GameDay” taking place in Bozeman.

“Great news! Look who’s back?! Mr. Corso finds the [College GameDay] gang tomorrow in Bozeman, Montana,” Fowler posted on social media. “Hope LC packed their warmest coat! Seeing it on my TV tomorrow will warm my heart.”
Corso last appeared on the show Oct. 22 in Eugene, Oregon and has missed the past three weeks while recovering from an undisclosed health condition.
In Austin, Texas this past weekend, “College GameDay” host Rece Davis provided an update on Corso.

“Lee Corso is still recovering. I hope he continues to recover and is back with us very soon,” Davis said.

Corso 87, missed the two previous editions of “College GameDay” when the the show traveled to Jackson, Mississippiand Athens, Georgia.
Corso also missed two shows earlier in the season due to an undisclosed health issue.

This is the 121st time Montana and Montana State have faced off in the “Brawl of the Wild,” and the first time “College GameDay” has visited Bozeman.
