LeBron James Wins Worst Actor at 2022 Razzie Awards

LeBron James won the “worst actor” award at the Golden Raspberry Awards on Saturday, for his performance in Space Jam 2: A New Legacywith Netflix Diana: the musical dominating for the most Razzie awards of the night, including Worst Picture and Worst Actress.

The ironic annual Golden Raspberry Awards – otherwise known as the Razzie Awards – celebrate the worst in the film industry and take place the day before the Oscars.

james and Space Containment 2 – which have been criticized by awards organizers as “a 115-minute advertisement for all things WarnerMedia” – have actually won three Razzie Awards in total, AFP reports.

“Basketball phenom LeBron James was the MVP for both Worst Actor and Worst Screen Couple (with all those cartoon co-stars and product sheets) while the movie itself was chosen. worst remake/ripoff or sequel,” the awards organizers said in a press release.

But the movie that won the most Razzies of the night was Netflix’s screen version of the Broadway super-flop, Diana: the musicalwhich The Guardian described as “the most hysterical hate watch of the year”.

Diana: the musical won five awards, including Worst Picture and Worst Actress for star Jeanna de Waal. Meanwhile, actor Jared Leto won Worst Supporting Actor for his performance with his fake Italian accent in Gucci House.

Movies aren’t the only industry James struggles in.

Last week, things didn’t go well for the basketball player and his Lakers. The team is well below .500, and James’ blood pressure appears to have ranged well past .500 as he unleashed two outbursts of profanity in Los Angeles’ 114-103 loss to the Raptors.

In a stunning act of maturity and leadership, James responded by repeatedly slamming the ball on the ground and screaming F-bombs.
