On the 4th anniversary of Nipsey’s death, Lauren remembered her late love partner. The actress took to Instagram to mark her “transition” day.
“Holding my breath all March, knowing I have to face the memory of the day you transitioned…” Laurent wrote.
“I cling to ancient wisdom but pain is pain and nothing was ever the same…
To be eternal. Ermias Asghedom. I love you,” she continued, accompanying a black-and-white portrait of Nipsey.
Lauren ended the memorial with a quote about the enduring spirit of the Baha’i sacred writings.
“To consider that after the death of the body the spirit perishes, is like imagining that a bird in a cage will be destroyed if the cage is broken, although the bird has nothing to fear from the destruction of the cage Our body is like the cage, and the mind is like the bird.
“We see that without the cage this bird flies into the world of sleep; therefore, if the cage breaks, the bird will continue and exist. His feelings will be even more powerful, his perceptions greater, and his happiness increased. Truly, from hell he reaches a paradise of delights for to grateful birds there is no paradise greater than freedom. – Baha’i Sacred Writings
THE you people The star was candid about the heartbreaking ordeal of grief, saying she even struggled to get out of bed. On March 31 this year, the rest of the world mourns the tragic loss of the victory tower rapper with her.
Hopefully it has appeased Nipsey’s loved ones to know that Eric Holder Jr. did not escape murder. Last July, a jury found a trigger-happy coward guilty of first-degree murder.
Find out what Holder’s lawyer said about his prison life being hell after the turnaround.
“Life in prison is going to be hell” for Eric Holder Jr. according to his lawyer
While others close to Lauren and Nipsey struggle with her death, convicted killer Eric Holder Jr. expects to fight for his life. In February, a judge sentenced Holder to 60 years.
In a viral clip from the courtroom, Holder’s attorney requested custody. He warned that this incumbent would inevitably “target” anyone in prison who loved Nipsey.
“Once he gets to state prison, he’s a target. There’s a green light on him from all the gangs, from all the people who loved Nipsey Hussle. And so his life in prison will be hell for as long as it lasts,” attorney Aaron Jensen said.
Holder should have considered people in Los Angeles and all prison systems wanting to retaliate against Nipsey. Previous attacks have already validated Jensen’s concerns.
As soon as Holder was behind bars, his fellow inmates made sure he would regret the shooting. He was unable to attend his trial last June because two other inmates jumped on him.
“Mr. Holder, Jr. was assaulted by multiple individuals while in the prison holding cell awaiting trial yesterday morning. The attack included a razor and the back of his head was cut off,” Jensen previously told CBS News.
Nipsey had so much more to do and give at 33 that his death is even more surreal. Many of his fans take comfort in knowing that Holder’s remaining decades will be miserable behind bars.
