LAURA INGRAHAM: We will never see another like Queen Elizabeth II

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Laura Ingraham explained how altruistic adjectives were mutilated and how Queen Elizabeth II was the embodiment of real courage and bravery in ‘The Ingraham Angle’.

LAURA INGRAHAM: Other altruistic adjectives are also bastardized. Hillary Clinton and her daughter are now performing their new show called “Gutsy”.

Dance and soup? Very brave. What a sacrifice, what courage, Hillary – but that’s not all, folks, because remember the bravest thing of all is to hate Trump.

Right now what we need to do is recognize and celebrate the most daring and courageous woman, probably in the last hundred years, and that’s the woman you haven’t even mentioned in your silly little book: Queen Elizabeth II. She was a brave woman. Because brave is someone who, in one way or another, even at a young age, sets a worthy example for others to follow…

And brave is putting duty first, putting your countrymen before even your own personal desires…

And brave carries on centuries-old traditions when so many in modern society reject and ridicule them.

LAURA INGRAHAM: AND JUST LIKE THAT HE DECLARED WAR ON WHAT, 74 MILLION VOTERS?

Gutsy stands tall, resolute and stoic in times of great national change and challenge, as she has done since 1953.

Now, the kind of courage, determination and courage of Queen Elizabeth, it’s considered a bit outdated in much of today’s modern world. And it’s a world where so many people expect a trophy for being authentic themselves. A world where people worry and navel-gaze about work-life balance or worry about whether they have enough hours in their schedule for self-care and time for me .

Queen Elizabeth loved her dogs, her horses and her family, but she also loved her country. She wouldn’t think of slandering our country or publicly criticizing her nation as so easily do so many Democratic leaders today. Elizabeth knew what was expected of her and performed her duties, and she did it brilliantly, decade after decade after decade. Were will never see another like her. It really is the end of an era. But we can hope that Britain and the rest of the world, perhaps even Hillary Clinton, learned something about real courage, real courage and real service from her example.
