Latto cheers on the “panties police” and gets an offer for a used thong

Latto has great eBay energy.
The 24-year-old rapper called his enemies on Twitter this week after a fan slammed her for wearing the same pair of leopard panties in two photos – and her hilarious response ended with the underwear being auctioned off.
Latto’s #pantygate began when Twitter user @extraathique posted a side-by-side comparison of two photos of the “Big Energy” singer, both showing a leopard-print thong hanging from the back of her pants.
“Can’t afford to buy new panties?” the tweet read, prompting Latto to share the post on Sunday and write, “Oh no it’s panty police.”
“Ugh people act like you can’t wash clothes and wear them again,” one fan commented on Latto’s clap-back tweet, while another wrote, “Bruh there’s packs 12 or more you can get on Amazon that all look like this lol.”
The “It’s Givin” singer took her panty issue one step further and listed the underwear for 99 cents on eBay on Monday, tweeting, “Bidding live on eBay since I can’t wear them twice.”
Bids started pouring in, with the leopard-print thong eventually reaching $95,650 – before eBay pulled the item due to its hygiene policy.
“Used underwear is not permitted on the site, please report any listings you see in violation of the policy here,” the official said. The eBay Twitter account wrote in response to a fan who wondered if Latto’s post violated the site’s terms.
Although her panties didn’t end up selling, Latto clearly had fun with the experience, sharing a meme of a dad and two kids on her Instagram story that read, “Dad why mommy no longer lives with we?” with a speech bubble saying, “Because I spent $95,650 buying Latto’s panties.”
In addition to calling the “panty police,” the rapper has been keeping busy lately with an appearance on this week’s episode of “The Bachelor.”
During the first group date of the season, Latto encouraged female band “Bachelor” Zach Shallcross to show off their “bad female dog energy” by strutting down a catwalk and sharing a moment in their lives where they felt powerful.
Looks like she could have given Zach’s suitors a tip or two to stop their enemies as well.
