Lady Yuliana denounces mistreatment by reggaeton player Berto Trebol

The singer participated in the Golden Mic Music Awards, held last Thursday in Bogotá

Lady Yuliana has been establishing herself as one of the great figures in the Colombian national industry, as well as one of the most representative voices of popular music in recent times. Songs like ‘Empezar de cero’, ‘Padre y madre’ and ‘Me sobraste’ sound insistently on the radio and on social media platforms. streamingwhich allowed him to gain the support of other referents of the genre such as Johnny Rivera or Lady Noriega, with whom he has collaborated in two productions.

However, this Friday the singer caught the attention of her loyal fans through social networks for reasons not directly related to her music. Lady Yuliana used her official Instagram account to publish a series of complaints about an uncomfortable and unacceptable situation that she was a victim of last Thursday night.

The popular song diva reported that the events occurred during the Golden Mic Music Awards, which took place at the El Dorado Theater in the city of Bogotá. The 37-year-old Caldense attended as one of the great guests of the ceremony, thanks to the gold record certification that her song ‘ Así soy yo’ reached. During the evening she performed ‘Me sobraste’, in a presentation highly celebrated by the attendees.

However, the night darkens when Lady Yuliana is preparing to leave the theater. When she was with her assistants preparing everything to retire, she met the Puerto Rican singer known as Berto Trebol ‘El Original’, reggaeton player and member of the Trebol Clan group. Everything seems to indicate that the artist was bothered by the presence of women in the dressing room and he began to behave rudely and bawdy with them.

In the video published by the same singer, she said that Berto Trebol kicked her.

“I am very sad, very disappointed, I still

I feel shocked (…) To have seen myself in such a depressing scene, so unacceptable, at the hands of a person I had never seen in my life. I strongly reject any action of violence against women of any age and of any nationality, this does not have to ever happen. There will never be a justification for us as women to see ourselves in such vulnerable situations.”

“Lady Yuliana and her work team were victims of the ‘artist’ Berto, from Trébol Clan, who in the dressing rooms of the ‘Golden Mic Music Awards’ event not only attacked our artist verbally, but also physically, intimidating her and his team, made up of women”

The statement is also clear in pointing out that this case will be brought before the competent authorities. Similarly, the organization of the Golden Mic Music Awards expressed its support for Lady Yuliana through their social networks.

Faced with the reproach, the man replied: “This is how abnormal women are.” And Lady Yuliana replied: “But I am not abnormal.” Although the reggaeton player insisted: “I do.”
