LA County firefighters work on third alarm fire at Carson warehouse


More than 115 Los Angeles County firefighters were working to contain the warehouse fire in Carson Thursday afternoon.

Crews were dispatched at 2:12 p.m. to report a commercial structure fire at 16325 S. Avalon Blvd., according to the LA County Fire Department.

Units on site reported smoke and fire at the rear of the building, firefighters said.

The incident was upgraded to second and third alarm, firefighters said. The fire is said to have started in boxes of rubbing alcohol.

No injuries were reported.
