Kysre Gondrezick breaks his silence in Kevin Porter Jr.’s alleged assault case – asking people to ‘avoid speculation’ about what really happened in a New York hotel room Monday morning before the arrest of Houston Rockets guard.
Porter, 23, was charged Monday with assault and strangulation by New York police for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Gondrezick, at the Millennium Hilton New York hotel.
But a source close to Gondrezick exclusively tells the Post that she has not made a statement to cops about the incident, and her lawyer further claims that what has been reported from her side is “misleading and inaccurate » – without giving details.
The source close to the former WNBA player told us that Gondrezick “has not made a statement (to law enforcement) and has complained to them that what is being attributed to him is inaccurate and must put an end to it. These are not his words.
Robert Hantman, Gondrezick’s attorney, told The Post exclusively in a statement Wednesday morning: “Ms. Gondrezick wishes to express her deep gratitude for the public’s support and prayers. As for our client, much of what has been written in the press attributing statements to her is misleading and inaccurate. She neither granted nor issued any statement of her own volition.
The statement further added: “She asks everyone to respect their privacy, avoid speculation about what happened, and refrain from disclosing misleading statements about Mr. Porter. She asks that the press and all officials refrain from any judgment and speculation on this matter which will be rectified correctly and with integrity. THANKS!”
Porter was arrested around 6:30 a.m. Monday after a 911 call about an assault at the four-star Millennium Hilton in Midtown, according to New York City police and law enforcement sources.

Cops and sources previously said Porter allegedly punched Gondrezick multiple times and placed his hands around his neck and that when officers arrived, they found Gondrezick, 26, with a cut to his face and pain in his neck. .
Prosecutors later said Gondrezick was left with a broken bone in her neck and was found bloodied and bruised by hotel employees in a hallway after fleeing the hotel room.
Prosecutors also say Porter struck Gondrezick with a closed fist multiple times, leaving her with a gash above her right eye, and added that after being taken to NYU Langone Medical Center, doctors confirmed that Gondrezick had a fractured vertebra in his neck, a court. depot said.

Gondrezick’s statement via his lawyer casts doubt on the reported version of events, including his state of health, although his representatives would not comment further on the incident.
Porter, whose full name is Bryan Kevin Porter Jr., was released on $75,000 bail during an arraignment hearing and a judge granted a full temporary restraining order against him.
The NBA star is due back in court on October 16.
His defense attorney did not immediately return a call seeking comment.

An NBA spokesperson previously told the Post: “We are aware of the information regarding Kevin Porter Jr. The league office is in contact with the Houston Rockets and is in the process of gathering more information.”
Gondrezick’s sister allegedly used Instagram Stories to warn Porter to “count (his) days” after the accusations, according to Clutch Points.

Kalabrya Haskins reportedly posted in defense of her sister: “Better hope and pray that you can walk again let alone dribble.”
The couple had reportedly gone out the night before at a New York Fashion Week event.
