Kyle Rittenhouse meets Donald Trump in Mar-a-Lago

Former President Donald Trump on Monday welcomed 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse for a meeting in Mar-a-Lago.

The meeting was said to have taken place on Monday during Kyle’s high-profile trip to Florida state, two sources familiar with the meeting told Breitbart News. The current photo, obtained by Fox News’ Sean Hannity, immediately began circulating online.

Rittenhouse was acquitted last Friday on the basis of self-defense for the murder of two men, Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, who attacked him during the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020.

President Trump celebrated Friday’s acquittal.

“Kudos to Kyle Rittenhouse for being found INNOCENT of all charges. It’s called being declared NOT GUILTY – And by the way, if it’s not self-defense, nothing is! A said the former president in a statement.

In 2020, as the media attempted to portray Rittenhouse as a self-defense murderer, Trump said video evidence appeared to show Kyle acted in self-defense:

We look at it all. And it was an interesting situation. You saw the same tape as me. And he was trying to get away from them, I guess; Looks like. And he fell, and then they attacked him very violently. And that’s something we’re looking at right now, and it’s under investigation. But I guess he had really big problems. He would’ve been – he probably would’ve been killed.

Trump announced his meeting with Kyle Rittenhouse in an interview with Sean Hannity in which he called him a “nice young man.”

“Really a nice young man. What he experienced – he should have been, was professional misconduct. He shouldn’t have gone to trial for that. He was going to be dead. If he hadn’t pulled the trigger, that guy who put the gun to his head, in a split second he was going to pull the trigger – Kyle would be dead, ”Trump said.

“I just left Mar-a-Lago a short time ago and he should never have suffered this. It was malpractice, and it is happening right now all over the United States with the Democrats,” a- he added.
