Kieron Pollard spins out of turn at Trinidad T10 Blast and gets a wicket

West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard is known for his medium-pace bowling as well as his enormous power-striking ability. However, in a recent match in the ongoing Trinidad T10 Blast, he was seen bowling out of rotation, and also, bowling Leonardo Julien with the penultimate ball of his only over.

Scoa King and Scarlet Ibis Scorchers faced off in a Dream11 Trinidad T10 Blast match. Scoa King won the fight by 42 runs from Duckworth Lewis in the end scoring 150/3 at bat first. Kieron Pollard who is currently one of the most destructive hitters in the world is the captain of the Scorchers. Additionally, he often provides crucial breakthroughs with his medium-paced bowling game and lands magnificent catches on the field.

Interestingly, in the match against Scoa, Pollard turned into an off-spinner. The opposition struck first and he went on the attack in the fourth. The Scoa King Openers Sunil Nostril and Leonardo Julien had amassed 45 runs in the first three overs before Pollard showed up with a surprise move.

The move appeared to be a miss initially after Pollard conceded 10 on the first four balls. However, Pollard came back strong, clearing Julien on the fifth ball. Julien, at bat on 24 of 12 balls, attempted to bat to the opposing side, but ended up misjudging the ball before it hit the wickets.

The last ball over conceded no runs and Pollard finished with 1/10. However, he hasn’t gone back to attacking, but he can start counter-turning to Bombay Indians (MI) in the next Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
