How do you like them
apples peaches, Kenya Moore?
Marlo Hampton exclusively tells Page Six that she feels her frenemy isn’t happy she finally got full-time status on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for Season 14.
“I don’t think Kenya was that happy at all,” Hampton said of Moore, who previously said the promotion was a “good look” for Bravo. “I feel like it was all smoke and mirrors or whatever.”
The Le’ Archive founder continues, “I can feel deep down that she didn’t think I should have [a peach]. She didn’t want me to be her equal or sitting on the couch next to her.
“I went, but she always felt like she had one on me, saying she was a peach holder. But I don’t think she was being sincere at all being excited for me .
Hampton, 46, joined the latest episode of “RHOA” as a full-time “housewife” following the departures of veteran cast members Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams.
Hampton says that was skipped twice for a full-time position on “RHOA.”
“I thought I was going [get it two times] and I didn’t. I’ll tell you the truth,” she said. “I went into the bedroom and cried like a baby. I’m like, ‘That’s not fair, guys. It’s not fair!’ I was so pissed off. And I’m like, OK, ‘Give him 15 minutes, take those tears away and bring your butt back and be a friend. Go drive those heifers crazy!”
But with a peach in hand, Hampton hoped to find permanent peace with Moore, 51, while filming Season 14. She claims she made an effort to be a “great friend” to Kenya Moore Hair CEO after the two made amends. on Season 13 after years of contention.
“I got to work. Like, I’m gonna show this girl what it’s like to be a friend. I went out of my way to support her and I was just like, ‘I’m sick of you never supporting me,’ Hampton said. “Every fucking time I give, she just takes water and throws it in my face.”
However, Hampton has found a brotherhood with castmates Kandi Burruss, Shereé Whitfield, Drew Sidora and newbie Sanya Richards-Ross.
“I really feel like Kandi was definitely happy. She always pleaded for me to get a peach,” she notes. “Sanya is super excited. She’s a new fisherman. It’s a bubble of joy. It’s sad that Cynthia isn’t here with us to enjoy it with me. But I think for the most part, the majority are happy.
