Kelly Clarkson says she’s ‘so broken’ as she quarantines with kids at home

Kelly Clarkson is getting real with her fans as she gives them a glimpse into her home life as a single mom with two kids.

The television personality and singer appeared on her namesake talk show from her home on Tuesday. She went without makeup and was seen wearing a sleep mask on her head and a dress.

“Sometimes women don’t get up,” she joked to Taraji P. Henson who replaced Clarkson in the studio. “Sometimes we fall.”

“I thought we were done with the quarantine, and I’m so tired. I broke a fingernail. I’m so broke. This is me broke. My almond milk just expired. The America, this is what I look like,” Clarkson said. with a laugh.

Henson told Clarkson not to worry as her appearance was her first time leaving the house since Christmas.

Clarkson did not share details about why she is home with her children, but did reveal that she was not sick.

“I’m not even sick! It’s so weird. Either way, we’re keeping it safe,” Clarkson said.

The “Voice” judge went on to say that her kids couldn’t stop watching Disney’s “Encanto,” which she’s also a fan of.

“We’ve seen it so much, but it’s so cute,” she said.

Clarkson is mom to River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5.

She also revealed to Henson that she hadn’t taken the time to take down her Christmas decorations yet.
