Kell Brook is back in training and considering coming out of retirement after receiving an approach for a potential fight with Chris Eubank Jr against winner Conor Benn, trainer Dominic Ingle reveals

Kell Brook is considering a return to boxing, his trainer Dominic Ingle has revealed.
The former IBF welterweight world champion left the sport after finally settling his long-running rivalry with Amir Khan by knocking him out in February.
Brook announced his retirement in May but now appears tempted to make a comeback four months later.
Ingle told Boxing King Media, “He says he has fire in his stomach for another fight.
“He had certain promoters on him who wanted to make fights.
“He asked me what I thought about it and I said, ‘Kell, look, you’ve got a lot of money, you’ve made a fortune. You probably never realized what you should have done, but you have made a fortune.
“I said, ‘If you have the fire in your stomach that you still want to hurt people and you still want to fight, do it.
“I said, ‘You definitely don’t want to do it for the money, you don’t need the money, but if a fight gets your adrenaline pumping, really motivates you, take that fight.

“I think he was offered three or four opponents.
“I said, ‘Pick the one that gets your adrenaline pumping. Practice, see how you do. But I sure don’t need you to fight again, and you sure don’t need to fight. again. So make sure it’s for the right reason – because you want to fight.
“We’ll see what Kell [decides]. He has been training for the past few weeks. »
When asked who Brook could fight, Ingle replied, “I think someone mentioned Liam Smith.

“Or maybe the winner of Conor Benn against Chris Eubank Jr.
“I don’t know the exact details, it was just mentioned.
“He likes to train, but he knows that if he has to get into another fight, he has to step on the gas and start over.
“We may find out in the next two weeks.”
