On Monday night, he took things to a whole new level in a big win over the Houston Rockets.
He scored 30 points (which is a career high for the forward) and 6 rebounds while going 11 of 17 from the field and 8 of 12 from the three-point line.
Murray led his team in points and was dominant at both ends of the field.
He truly looked like an All-Star in the making and earned praise from the fans.
These fans have been incredibly happy lately.
Although they lost the last two games, they also knocked out other teams like Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder and others.
The Kings are the third seed in the West and have remained at the top of the standings for weeks now.
It proves their greatness isn’t just a flash in the pan and they could really go a long way in the playoffs this year.
Murray was great in his freshman year, but he’s not alone and athletes like De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and others help the Kings impress everyone from fans diehards to casual followers.
The list is young, motivated and very deep.
Murray proved it again on Monday night, leading his team and establishing himself as one of the best up-and-coming talents in the league.
