Karim Benzema injured in training
The star striker of the Blues and recent Ballon d’Or Karim Benzema was injured in training, according to information that Europe1 is able to confirm, a few days before the entry into the running of the selection of Didier Deschamps at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Medical examinations are forthcoming.
Karim Benzema, released on Saturday injured from collective training, will undergo medical examinations in the evening to determine the nature and severity of his injury, informed AFP from a source close to the Blues and that Europe 1 is able to confirm, three days before France’s first match against Australia at the World Cup in Qatar.

The Real Madrid striker, injured since October in a thigh, took part in his first collective session on Saturday since the start of the Blues rally on Monday at Clairefontaine. In the event of a package, Didier Deschamps can replace a player until Monday, the day before the entry into the running in Qatar.
