Kanye West has disappeared from the Coachella lineup, leaving surprise artist Travis Scott without a stage.
His vacancy means festival organizers must quickly replace the headliner for the two-weekend showcase, April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California.
Sources tell TMZ that West will no longer be a part of Coachella 2022 – amid his latest controversy with the Recording Academy, which banned the “Eazy” rapper from performing at the Grammy Awards on Sunday after his latest problematic rant on the networks social. West ultimately refused to show up for last night’s ceremony.
Representatives for West declined to share the reason for his departure from the upcoming festival, or plans for Scott to return to the lineup in any other capacity.
