Kansas City shooting: Police shoot fatally at man suspected of killing two teenagers
The teenage brothers – Abdirahman Abdulaziz, 14, and Abdulwahid Abdulaziz, 16, were shot on Friday after leaving Ramadan services at their mosque, the Kansas City Police spokesperson told CNN in an e- mail and in Twitter messages.

“Officers and detectives at the scene heard story after story about these promising young men who were leaders both in their community and at their mosque,” ​​KCPD said in the post. “It became clear that Kansas City has lost two rising stars.”

Police said the shooting appeared to be domestic in nature. The homicide suspect, who had an arrest warrant in the case, was identified as Hanad A. Abdiaziz, 25, police said.

Kansas City police located him on Saturday night and attempted to contact him, on Missouri Highway Patrol said on Twitter. Highway Patrol said he presented a short-barreled shotgun and was shot by an officer. Abdiaziz was taken to hospital and pronounced dead, the agency said.

Kansas City Police are investigating the murders of the brothers while the Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating the suspect’s shooting, they said.
