The actress went on hiatus at the age of 15, in a video for Brut India she said: “My retirement has already started. My parents say that because I work less. I write sometimes. And I did my master’s so I’m like, ‘It’s okay,’ she said.

She added: “I wasn’t really tired of performing. I was 15 or 16, so I was like, ‘I have to relax now.’ Because during my childhood I had worked a lot but also my parents, they made me take breaks in between. I even went to school regularly and did my homework and stuff, it was fun but somehow I missed out on a little part of my childhood. So. my parents also said, ‘Take a break now.’ So, that’s somewhere where I lost track when it comes to acting.

Jhanak said: “I used to be an extrovert because I had a lot of exposure. Now I’m the opposite. I’m very quiet. After a while I was like, ‘Okay, too much. people approach me. I enjoyed that too.
