Justin Jefferson shows why the Minnesota Vikings had the wisdom to draft him with the 22nd overall pick in 2020.

Since joining the NFL in 2020, he’s proven himself to be an elite receiver.

As he enters his third season in the NFL, he is making history.

This story places him in a class of his own among his peers.

So what does he do to put himself in a class of his own?

Jefferson is the only receiver to eclipse an insane number of receiving yards

No other receiver has as many receiving yards as Jefferson since joining the NFL in 2020.

Since his rookie season in 2020, he’s the only wide receiver with more than 4,000 receiving yards over the three-year span.

His 4,248 receiving yards gave him three straight seasons of 1,000+ receiving yards.

He is also currently one yard behind the best receiver of 2022, Tyreek Hill.

However, while a yard behind for first place, he has three seasons of consistency.

This consistency places the young receiver in a class of his own.

While other receivers have reached career years in 2021 and 2022, it’s Jefferson who is showing steady progression.

His play also helps put the Vikings atop the NFC North with a 9-2 record.

With them holding the No. 2 seed in the NFC, the team can thank Jefferson and his incredible play this season for some of those wins.

Although 2022 isn’t over, it’s clear the young receiver is in a class of his own until someone can get past him.
