Jude Bellingham couldn’t hide his joy as Borussia Dortmund edged closer to the Bundesliga title on Sunday.
Sebastien Haller scored twice in a 3-0 win over Augsburg which means Dortmund are one win away from securing the league title ahead of Bayern Munich.
And Bellingham was delighted to have missed the game through injury.
He tweeted: “COME ONNNN!!! 1 remaining.
Dortmund edged out Bayern in first place and took a two-point lead with one game left in the Bundesliga season.
The German champions lost 3-1 to RB Leipzig on Saturday, giving Edin Terzic’s men the lead.
If they beat Mainz at home next week, Dortmund will secure their first Bundesliga title since the 2011/12 season.
It would put a damper on Bayern’s dominance in Germany, which has won the last 11 league titles on offer.

And it was Haller who led BVB to the brink when his brace helped Augsburg 3-0 after a wayward first half.
Felix Uduokhai was sent off in the first half before Haller netted the opener just before the hour mark.
The 28-year-old, who has missed much of the season with testicular cancer, grabbed his second late before Julian Brandt netted with the game’s final kick.
Haller has been in fine form in recent weeks, scoring five league games in three.

And the former West Ham striker continues to act as an inspiration, who was diagnosed just weeks after signing for Dortmund last summer.
He remarkably beat the disease after six months and has since returned to the team, scoring the goals that put them in the driver’s seat of the Bundesliga title race.
It would be an incredible feat for Dortmund, who lost Erling Haaland to Manchester City last year.
By contrast, it could be a disastrous year for Bayern Munich, who sacked Julian Nagelsmann in March when Dortmund overtook them for the first time in the league.
But Thomas Tuchel’s arrival hasn’t sparked the kind of reaction they were hoping for as they have to go without silverware for the first time since 2011/12.
The Allianz Arena team withdrew from the DFB-Pokal Cup and the Champions League in the first weeks of Tuchel’s reign.
Dortmund entertain Mainz, while Bayern take on Cologne on the final day, but the Bundesliga is now out of their control.
