Jordan Poole continues his incredible playoff success

The Golden State Warriors are currently scouring the Denver Nuggets en route to a potential first-round playoff sweep.

While the Nuggets have likely MVP Nikola Jokic on their side, they still don’t have an answer for the Warriors, who now lead 3-0 in the series.

A big part of Golden State’s success has been Jordan Poole, the third-year shooter who does a phenomenal job for his team.

On Thursday night, Poole scored 27 points while shooting 9-of-13 and 3-of-5 from beyond the three-point arc.

In the first three games of the playoffs, Poole scored over 25 points.

The Warriors officially have a new superstar.

death list

Poole has been doing so well lately that NBA fans and the media have been trying to name programming featuring him.

For a time, the combination of Poole, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green was referred to as a “death line-up,” but people were understandably a bit uncomfortable with it.

PTSD (“Poole, Thompson, Steph, Draymond”) was the next nickname for players but, again, some people thought it was a little insensitive.

TNT was fond of calling this range “3G” because it has three guards, but many people noted that 3G technology is outdated, so that didn’t catch on either.

No final name has been chosen for the team with Poole.

But everyone has to agree on something because the young player is not leaving.

He plays out of his mind and dominates when it matters most.

Because of the season he’s had — particularly in the playoffs — Poole is now one of the Warriors’ biggest names.

Expect to see a lot more of it.
