The Jonas Brothers react when their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is unveiled at a ceremony Monday in Hollywood, Calif. At the ceremony, they announced that their sixth album will be released on May 5.

The Jonas Brothers received the 2,745th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday. The pop group, made up of brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas, formed in 2005.

“It’s a testament to the love and support of our fans, family and friends who have been with us every step of the way,” Kevin Jonas said at the ceremony. He called the group’s fans “the driving force” behind the group.

At the ceremony, Nick Jonas announced his upcoming album, titled The Scrapbookwill be released on May 5, followed by a tour. The Scrapbook – the band’s sixth – will feature modernized elements of ’70s pop and Americana.

The Jonas Brothers rose to fame as Disney Channel stars, with starring roles in the camp rock films and their own television series, Jonah.

The brothers separated for several years in the 2010s with individual projects. Nick Jonas’ 2014 self-titled album featured songs certified triple platinum, double platinum and gold. Joe Jonas is the frontman of DNCE, which debuted with the single “Cake by the Ocean” in 2015.

The Jonas Brothers reunited in 2019 with the single “Sucker,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

“I’m glad that day that we decided not to do this anymore, that we changed our minds together,” Nick Jonas told his brothers at the Walk of Fame ceremony.
