Johnny Fisher announced his arrival in the heavyweight division with a quick demolition of Matt Gordon at the SSE Arena in Wembley.
“The Romford Bull” marked his professional debut with a destructive display, crushing Gordon twice in a first-round stoppage victory.
Fisher got off to a quick start, throwing crisp combinations from the opening bell, and a chain of right hands sent Gordon rocking the ropes.
Sensing the finish was near, Fisher quickly pummeled Gordon onto the canvas and referee Ian John-Lewis quickly gave up the fight.
In the opener, Jordan Gill picked up an elegant points victory over Cesar Juarez to regain the WBA international featherweight title.
The 26-year-old showed skill in the face of relentless aggression from his Mexican opponent by securing a unanimous decision with scores of 98-92, 98-93 and 96-94.
