Depp, once among the highest-paid actors in the world, can no longer land a role in a studio movie, his team claims.

Heard, 36, sued for $100 million, accusing Depp, 58, and his former attorney of conspiring to “destroy and defame” her.

“I didn’t know if the bottle he had in me was broken,” she said.

Heard’s attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, showed Heard a picture of two empty liquor bottles. She identified one that appeared to be Maker’s Mark whiskey as Depp’s alleged weapon.

Depp accused Heard of being the assailant and told jurors she threw a bottle of vodka at him which shattered and severed his finger. She implied in her testimony that Depp cut his fingertip while hitting a wall phone.

Jurors saw photos of extensive damage to the property after the wild explosion, including a blood-stained sofa, defaced artwork and broken glass strewn across the floors.

The actress described other alleged sexual assaults during their toxic relationship.

“I thought that was how I would die. He’s going to kill me now,” Heard said. She said Depp repeatedly punched and headbutted her during the alleged December 15 beating that left her with two bruised eyes.

He dragged her to their bed and allegedly knelt on her back and buried his head in the mattress as he cursed, “I hate you, I hate you,” she said. The bed broke during the struggle.

“I remember trying to scream, and I couldn’t scream. I was suffocating in that mattress topper,” she told jurors.

She lost consciousness and woke up when she heard her best friend’s voice.

The photos also showed a clump of hair on the floor that she alleged Depp had pulled out, spilled wine and a bizarre message written in a Sharpie pen on the counter.

Depp “hated James Franco”, says Heard

Heard said Depp constantly accused her of having an affair with her co-star James Franco. “It was a nightmare,” she told jurors.

“He was mad at me for taking the job,” she said. “He hated, hated James Franco.”

After filming a sex scene with Franco, Heard said Depp lost her on a private flight from Boston to Los Angeles. She said he kept asking her “If I liked it and if I was wet” in front of her friends and security.

He allegedly hit, slapped and scolded her, and at one point passed out on the plane’s bathroom floor. Heard described Depp as jealous and controlling.

“Mr. Depp threatened to kill her. The increasing severity of the abuse, the forced sexual activity, the choking behavior, his obsessive jealousy, the control aspect and his threat of suicide – to kill himself” were factors that played into that determination, she says.

“That means a woman is at risk of more severe and deadly domestic violence,” Hughes said. The forensic psychologist said Heard suffered from PTSD caused by “intimate partner violence”.

Ex-wife’s op-ed cost Depp $40m: accountant

Depp’s team on Tuesday called forensic accountant Michael Spindler as the final witness before handing over to Heard.

He told jurors the actor lost $40 million in income due to the editorial that portrayed him as an abuser between Oct. 18, 2018 and Oct. 31, 2020.

Three days after the piece landed on the Washington Post’s front page, Disney informed Depp that he was out as Jack Sparrow in the sixth “Pirates” movie, a loss of $22.5 million, minus agent fees.

The ‘Black Mass’ star also missed out on other potential and comely movie roles based on a comparison to his 2017 earnings.

But Spindler admitted in cross-examination that he had not assessed whether anything other than the editorial could have led to the loss of revenue, such as Depp’s lawsuit against The Sun newspaper in London for calling him a “wife beater”.

Between 2009 and 2019, Depp earned around $459 million.

Heard gave Depp a black eye: security guard

Bodyguard Travis McGivern told jurors he saw Heard punch Depp in the face as he tried to pull them apart during a wild fight in Los Angeles on March 23, 2015.

Heard had already thrown a can of Red Bull at Depp, kicked him in the back and spat at him, yelling, “‘You’re f–king washed, you’re a f–king c—!’ McGivern testified. He was the first witness in the trial to say that Heard got physical with Depp.

“I saw a clenched fist make contact with Mr. Depp on the left side of his face,” McGivern said.

The punch left Depp with a “minnow,” said McGivern, who insisted they leave immediately. Jurors saw photos of Depp’s injuries taken by another security guard after the altercation.

“I let him get hit by a can of Red Bull, I let him get hit,” he said. “My job is to keep my clients safe and well-being, and I felt like I didn’t do that.”
