Joe Biden Calls Taylor Swift Britney Spears in Latest Gaffe

In his latest gaffe, President Joe Biden referred to Taylor Swift as Britney Spears. The incident took place while he was participating in the annual White House ceremony before the Thanksgiving holiday, during which he pardoned two turkeys, Liberty and Bell. Biden used Britney’s name when referring to Taylor’s current overseas tour.

“Just to get here, Liberty and Bell had to overcome tough obstacles and competition. They had to work hard, be patient and be willing to travel more than 1,000 miles,” Biden said.

“You could say it’s even harder than getting a ticket for the Renaissance tour or Britney’s tour. She’s depressed, it’s pretty hot in Brazil right now,” he added.

A video of Biden’s gaffe was posted to X by Pop Crave, with many users commenting and pointing out that his old age might cause him to make mistakes in his speeches. Biden turned 81 on November 20.
