Keinhorst, who won the Grand Final with Leeds in 2015, is Hall’s most likely replacement but could also replace center Greg Minikin, whose season also ended with a serious knee injury against the Tigers.

Minikin faces a roughly nine-month layoff and is set to miss the start of the 2022 season with Warrington, with whom he has signed a two-year contract.

Hull KR coach Tony Smith said in his preview press conference: “Ryan tore his deltoid, around his bicep.

Keinhorst, who scored 32 tries in 93 appearances for Leeds from 2012 to 2018, is moving on to the wing after spending much of his career in center or full back.

The 31-year-old, who this week received a new contract for 2022, has made four of his club’s last five games, including two on the wing, and is ready to replace Hall if necessary.

“These are big boots and a big shirt size too,” he said. “Anywhere I am asked to play, I will be happy to be there.

“He has a certain reputation, so I’m going to have to fill these boots as best I can.

“I played a few games on the wing at the start of my career at Leeds, but not many since.
