Jill Biden highlighted her husband’s unity program ahead of the G7 summit in Cornwall, UK, wearing a blazer emblazoned with the word ‘love’.
“I think this is a world conference, and we are trying to bring unity to the world,” she added. “And I think it’s important right now that people feel a sense of unity for all countries and a sense of hope after this year of the pandemic.”

“He’s a troll”: CNN reporter on Jill Biden’s “love” jacket
Political commentators were quick to compare Biden’s post with that of another famous FLOTUS outfit: the controversial Zara jacket, worn by former First Lady Melania Trump, which read: “I Really Don’t Care , From where ?

Biden’s ensemble got approval from Zadig & Voltaire Artistic Director Cecilia Bonstrom, who posted about the jacket on Instagram with the message “Love @flotus wearing the @zadigetvoltaire LOVE blazer”.
At her husband’s inauguration dinner, Biden wore a dress embroidered with the official flowers of every U.S. state and territory – with the Delaware peach blossom sewn close to her heart. The designer behind the dress, Gabriela Hearst, said she was inspired by “the message of oneness”.

On Saturday, the first lady will meet with the spouses of other G7 leaders, before heading to Windsor Castle for an audience with Queen Elizabeth II the next day. His busy schedule will also see him meeting a group of volunteers who help British military veterans, as well as former servicemen who participated in the 1,000 mile “Walk of America” fundraiser.
