Jena Sims’ brazen response to hater after Brooks Koepka’s controversial LIV Tour move

Nice try, haters.

Jena Sims cheekily responded to a reviewer this week on TiKTok after commenting on her connection to husband Brooks Koepka.

“Good thing you met Brooks,” the user wrote, to which The Sims replied, “Okay,” with a winking face emoji. She then explained the swap on Wednesday in an Instagram Story, which was possibly related to Koepka’s controversial move to the Saudi-backed LIV tour.

“When they try to hate but I’m so glad I literally met my husband,” the 33-year-old Pageant of Hope founder said.

Sims and Koepka, 32, started dating in 2017 before getting engaged in 2021. The longtime couple tied the knot this month in an epic destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands, which the golfer called it “best”. Day. Devil. Life.”

In the weeks following her marriage to Sims, Koepka turned her life around by signing with LIV Golf. The four-time major champion, who has previously spoken out about the controversial PGA Tour rival, said a knee injury and his family factored into the decision.

“Opinions change. I feel very comfortable with the decision I made. I’m happy and I did what was best for me,” Koepka said this week ahead of LIV’s first US event in Portland, Ore.

Koepka is one of the most notable names to move to LIV, a roster that includes Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau. Johnson, Mickelson and DeChambeau have all reportedly received nine-figure salaries for joining the tour, which is backed by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund.

Although the PGA Tour has since suspended all golfers participating in LIV events, those in the Saudi Series can participate in the British Open in July.
