Tony Gonzalez did his best to get the scoop on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dating rumors.
After the Eagles’ 34-28 victory over the Vikings on “Thursday Night Football,” Gonzalez, a Hall of Famer and now an analyst for the pregame, halftime and postgame shows, asked Jason Kelce on his brother’s love life.
Earlier in the week, a report from The Messenger revealed that Travis was “quietly hanging out” with the “Blank Space” singer.
So Gonzalez tried to get information from Jason about what was really going on.
“So you talk about family, I have a 15-year-old daughter, and she’s a big fan of a certain pop star, and you have a family member – a brother – and I’ve heard rumors, maybe – be stuff. Can you comment? » asked González.
Jason, for his part, responded with a wary “Style.”
“I’ve seen these rumors, I can’t comment,” the Eagles center said.
Analyst Richard Sherman was even more amused: “What are we going on on TMZ? What are we doing?!” he asked.
But, undeterred by his co-host’s astonishment, Gonzalez followed through and said the information was intended for his daughter.
“Ever since ‘Catching Kelce,’ everyone has been in love with Travis’ love life,” Jason responded. “I don’t really know what’s going on there. I know Trav is having fun.
“We’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with,” he added with a big laugh.
Host Clarissa Thompson joked that she might get Gonzalez a job with her on the entertainment show “Extra,” where she also works.
On an episode of the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast, a week before the dating rumors began swirling, Travis said he was still “looking” for love.

“I thought you were looking for love?” Jason said.
“Yeah, that too. I’m still looking for it,” replied Travis with a laugh.

” Whore ! 10 years later and still nothing. »
Earlier this summer, Kelce admitted to trying — and failing — to give Swift his phone number during an Eras Tour concert.
“She doesn’t meet anyone – or at least she didn’t want to meet me. So, I took it personally.
Only time will tell if the All-Pro band and world-famous pop star will get their own “Love Story.”
