During this week’s show of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) criticized Democrats on the Jan. 6 House Select committee for their “choreographed” presentation earlier in the week.
The Ohio Republican lawmaker also reminded viewers of the altered evidence, apparently referring to an altered text message exchange between Jordan and Mark Meadows.
“I want to see all the depositions,” he said. “I want to see all the documents. And Ranking Member Rodney Davis has already sent a preservation letter to the committee, saying to keep all of this information, so we can review it, and the American people can get the whole story, not just this one-sided, choreographed presentation. that we have – excuse me – we had the other night. But when you think about what this committee has done, never in the history of this country, in the history of the House of Representatives, has a minority leader been able to bring into a select committee the people he has chosen.
“We also know that this committee altered the evidence and lied to the American people about it, so much so that they had to issue a statement saying, we regret the error, which is the government’s, we got caught lying,” Jordan continued. “So that’s what this committee is about. I think the country sees it for what it is, partisan political activity. That’s why the leader and I wrote the op-ed that we published in the Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago.
