Jake Turpin will sign with the Sydney Roosters for the 2023 season

The Sydney Roosters are expected to strengthen their roster for next season with the addition of Jake Turpin.

According 9News Ben Dobbin of QueenslandTurpin agreed to terms with the Roosters for next season after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Broncos.

The 25-year-old made his Broncos debut in 2018 and played 60 games for the club, scoring four tries.

Turpin has made 15 appearances for Kevin Walters’ side in the 2022 season and will provide dummy support for new Roosters No.9 Brandon Smith.

Smith will finally make his long-awaited debut for the Roosters next season after signing a three-year contract with the club.

The Roosters also signed Panthers legend Greg Alexander’s son Braith for the 2023 season.

Trent Robinson hopes the arrivals will help get his team back in the running for the premiership.

The Roosters finished the 2022 regular season well but were beaten by the Rabbitohs in the first week of the finals.
