Jake Paul rips ‘frightened’ Tommy Fury at press conference for being a ‘powerless’ ‘flake’ who ‘wants a paycheck so Molly-Mae doesn’t make all the money’

Jake Paul bullied a Tommy Fury who didn’t show up at their pre-fight press conference, calling him “flake” and “scared” and saying he had never been tested.

Paul was in Saudi Arabia, the location of their Feb. 26 fight which is set to finally go ahead on the third request.

Tommy, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson, had previously pulled out of a fight with an injury, and he was later denied entry to the United States.

Without any apologies, their long-standing dispute finally appears to be resolved in Diriyah, but the chatter has already been postponed, with Fury missing the press conference due to a “private matter”.

Paul took it upon himself to make the box office media appearance even without his contestant, but it was easy to see he was fuming at being left alone.

“I’m used to his behavior at this point,” he said. “He’s not a professional, he’s a flake, he’s not a serious businessman, he’s not a serious fighter.

“I’m going to prove it, that’s why this fight is called the truth, because the truth is going to come out.

“He’s going to have to pay for all the times he walked away, all the businessmen he screwed up.

“It’s disrespectful, they’re some of the biggest names in boxing and some of the biggest promoters in the world, some of the most influential people in the world, one of the biggest countries in the world and he doesn’t want to run for because of a private matter. Cool.

“We all have private affairs, when you sign up to do something and commit, that’s what it’s all about and it just shows me he’s scared.

“He said he didn’t need to train for this fight, ‘oh I could fight Jake Paul and I don’t even need to train’ when his excuse was that he had to train. train more for this fight and now apparently it’s a private matter so it’s typical Fury stuff.

“I love Tyson but I say the daddy [John] and Tommy, that’s typical of them.

Paul was then asked how he saw the fight going, and again he didn’t hold back.

“I knock it out, four rounds or less, bet the house on it, put your mortgage on it,” he began.

“He couldn’t knock out Daniel Bocianski, a taxi driver, in six rounds. The guy has no power, he couldn’t knock Anthony Taylor out, couldn’t even shake him, couldn’t even hurt him, Anthony Taylor was 25 pounds lighter than the guy. The guy doesn’t have a high knockout percentage.

“Normally I build my opponents but it’s just hard, I’m just telling the truth. People will see, they’ll be amazed I guess.

“The kid has never been tested, he’s never been in a hard fight, his combined record of opponents is 20 wins, 200 losses, he’s never gone eight rounds, he’s never been in there with a dog.

“I have something to prove, I have two championships on my shoulder, people say I have a chip on my shoulder, I have two.

“He was spoon-fed his whole life, leaned on his brother, got into the business because that’s what he was supposed to do, shot to fame on a reality show [Love Island] And now he’s riding the wave, trying to get a paycheck for Molly [Mae Hague, his girlfriend] is not the one who makes all the money in the relationship.

“I’m going to show him on February 26 that it’s evil business, he’s not going to like this sport after I’m done with him.”
