Jake Paul didn’t wait long to taunt Claressa Shields after suffering his first MMA loss on Wednesday night.
The three-weight boxing world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist had never lost a fight of any kind since her loss in amateur boxing to Savannah Marshall in 2012.
However, to test herself further, she decided to switch to MMA with PFL earlier this year.
In his first fight with Brittney Elkin, Shields came back from behind to get a late save.
The second time, however, it was not.
Abigail Montes dominated Shields in the final round to secure a split decision victory.
In the past, Shields has had harsh words for Jake.
He responded by issuing a statement that read: “The truth hurts, but it is necessary.
“Claressa Shields is a loser. In MMA and even more with his prima donna attitude.
“The fake is always exposed. Losses occur when anger and hatred take over. You just have to ask [Ronda] Rousey and [Conor] McGregor.
“She spent more time berating Jake Paul than learning Jiu Jitsu.
“She was never a big draw and, unfortunately for her, never will be.
“Amanda Serrano (the GWOAT) however has 30 knockouts in 42 fights. 2-0 in MMA, both win by submission. Congratulations Abigail Montes on the victory.
He tweeted the statement with the caption, “I love karma, Claressa Shields.
“Congratulations Abigail Montes! Someone give him a Twitter! “
