Ivan Toney posts deleted video of Leeds players singing ‘Mind the gap, Thomas Frank’ after Elland Road side fall into Premier League relegation zone

One of the problems with social media is that once you post something, it’s very easy for people to go back and find it.

And that’s exactly what Ivan Toney did, as Leeds were plunged further into a relegation battle over the weekend.

The Yorkshire side are now firmly in the relegation zone with three games to go as they face a return to the Championship.

And, with Brentford safe and comfortably seated in 12th, Toney decided to get revenge for an incident that happened around this time two years ago.

In 2020, Leeds were promoted, beating Brentford to a Premier League spot.

After their EFL Championship win, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas were filmed singing ‘Mind the gap, Thomas Frank’.

Toney, who was playing for Peterborough at the time, was clearly not happy about the joke aimed at his manager.

So, with Leeds now in grave danger, he responded with a comment of “Hmm” on the video – which has now been deleted.

And Toney could add to the misery by relegating Leeds when his Brentford side host Jesse Marsch’s side on the final day of the season.

That’s how you get revenge.
