It’s Twitter meme-fest as Telugu Titans record only second win of the season
For a team plagued by top player injuries, nearly everyone in poor form and just two wins in two seasons, being able to come together on the mat is next to impossible. But Telugu Titans managed to pull off the improbable on Saturday, with a win over U Mumba.
This PKL season has seen some strange events unfold on the mat, but this one has got to be the strangest of them all; Telugu Titans winning their second game of the season 32-26 against Mumba. Just when everyone had given up hope of the team winning a game again, they rose against all odds.
It was a great display of their defense, and the raiding unit earned them some points as well. The Titans may not be the best in terms of performance over the past two seasons, but their fanbase is definitely one of the best in the entire tournament. So when the team won the game, it was a Twitter meme fest.
