John Nolte, editor in chief of Breitbart News, declared his first novel Borrowed timewhich is available to purchase now, is not political and was written as a page-turner, albeit thought-provoking.
Speaking recently on the Chris Stigall Podcast, John Nolte explained how he avoided Hollywood-style grandstanding.
“It’s not political in the sense that it’s partisan. There is no rhetoric. I didn’t want to commit the same sin Hollywood is doing now and ruin the readers’ experience by taking you out lecturing and berating them and making clumsy political points,” he said.
I had a great conversation with @ChrisStigall about my book and general stuff here….

“It’s my book and it’s my view of the world but I’ve worked very hard not to be a hypocrite. I wanted the story to be told through theme, characters and plot. People can bring whatever they want. And I think they’ll see that it’s more universal than you might expect from me.
Borrowed time tells the story of a man named Joshua Mason who has lived for thousands of years and can’t seem to die. To earn money, he sells his life on the dark web to rich people who engage in the ritual of his assassination. But Joshua must deal with the mortality of those around him, including a loved one who is aging as he remains at the same age.
