Ithmar Capital brings together African sovereign wealth funds in Rabat

Ithmar Capital is organising, on June 20 and 21, 2022 in Rabat, the launch ceremony of the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF). Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, this event will be marked by the organization of a high-level conference under the theme “Seizing Africa’s Promising Opportunities: Agility and Collaboration in A Changing World” bringing together participants and expert speakers and decision-makers in the fields of investment, economy and sustainable development in Africa.

An endowment of African sovereign wealth funds, including Ithmar Capital, have come together to create a first-of-its-kind network on the continent, ASIF, whose main objective is to unite its members around the challenges facing African economies in terms of financing. and mobilizing investment, says a statement from Ithmar Capital.

The exchanges during various panels and sessions will focus on topics related to the resilience of the African economy, agility, sustainability, cooperation and long-term investment.

In addition, this international event will see the participation of the main financing and development organizations, international institutional investors as well as sovereign wealth funds from the MENA zone and Europe.
