Italian decathlete finishes last after penis keeps falling out of shorts

Italian decathlete Alberto Nonino suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during the 2022 World U20 Athletics Championships in Cali, Colombia on Thursday.

18-year-old Nonino reportedly started the race strong by outshining much of his competition on the first leg of the race, but soon enough another leg started giving him trouble when his penis dislodged and started slipping out of his running shorts. .

Soon Nonino began to lose position in the race because he became preoccupied with using his hands to cover his crotch.

Unable to swing his arms properly, he began to slow as the other runners passed him.

Finally, just before the finish line, he stopped and readjusted. He finally trotted out as the last to cross the finish line.

Nonino said he was mortified by the whole incident, but his friends and family helped him through the disastrous race and the reams of hills he received on the internet afterward.

“I just want to talk to you a bit about the heckling there has been on blogging and social media in general,” Nonino wrote according to the New York Post. “I’m aware that it was obviously an accident and I would like to tell you that I’m aware of the backlash and you don’t need to send me the links to the blogs there. I’m trying to get some laughing now, but immediately afterwards I felt terrible and am grateful to my friends and family for helping me get through what happened a few hours later.

Ridicule was stiff, indeed.

A Tweet from journalist David Sanchez de Castro was typical. The writer noted: “Last run of the 400 meter decathlon. Italian Alberto Nonino in lane five starts very well but crosses the finish line last. He took the bullets out, literally.
