Isley and Robbins earn All-CAA honors

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Second year Walker Isley was named All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team and Landon Robbinsa junior in the red jersey, earned a spot on the second team after good seasons with UNCW last season.

“I’m very proud of the solid play and leadership that Walker and Lansdon have provided us with this year,” the head coach said. Daniel Bowden. It capped off a great career for Lansdon as a Seahawk and I think it’s just the start of great things to come for Walker. We look forward to several more players earning these honors next season.”

Walker paced the Seahawks with an average of 72.13 and shaped four top-five finishes, including his first career victory at Forest Creek Collegiate in Pinehurst, North Carolina. At the CAA Championships, Isley led the Seahawks with a third-place finish.

Walker’s 72.13 stroke average ranks seventh on UNCW’s single-season scoring list.

Robbins finished his third season with the program averaging 72.72 shots over 10 events. He posted back-to-back top-10 finishes at Forest Creek Collegiate and Seahawk Intercollegiate in March.

Robbins ranks seventh on the UNCW career hitting average list with 73.18.
