The Punjab Kings have signed Shahrukh Khan for Rs 7 Crore in the mega auction for the upcoming IPL season and he could act as a finisher for the team. He is known for playing big hits and scored 153 points for Punjab last season with a strike rate of 134.21 playing a crucial role for the franchise.
The mega auction for IPL 2022 has been foiled pretty well for the Punjab Kings so far. In the last session of the day on Saturday, they picked Shahrukh Khan for Rs 9 Crore. Shahrukh is known for his ability to play aggressively and finish his team’s innings in the national circuit.
Shahrukh was also part of the Punjab Kings last year and scored 153 points during the season. He’s been a big part of the franchise helping them put some decent batting totals lower in the order on a few batting slumps.
He was also in excellent form this season in the domestic circuit as he made a vital contribution to Tamil Nadu. He had scored 101 points with an impressive strike rate of 157.81.
