IPL 2022, | Kuldeep Yadav has strengthened his run which helps him to take wickets, believes Dinesh Karthik

Royal Challengers Bangalore wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik says Kuldeep Yadav has strengthened his run which plays a key role for him in getting wickets. Kuldeep picked 10 wickets from four IPL 2022 matches and bamboozled the league’s best hitters.

IPL 2022 has been an exciting competition so far. Some of the senior Indian players in the league are doing well and one of them is Kuldeep Yadav. After having an average record in the last two seasons of the tournament, Kuldeep found form in IPL 2022 playing for the Delhi Capitals. He has bagged 10 wickets in four matches so far and is among the top five wicket takers in the tournament.

Wicket-beater keeper of the Royal Challengers Bangalore Dinesh Karthik praised Kuldeep Yadav and said he strengthened his run.

“I think technically he’s made some changes. I don’t want to get too technical, but he’s strengthened his build, which is good to see,” Karthik explained.

“I think he’s always been a very, very skilled bowler. I always enjoy watching him play when he’s at his peak pace. He’s a very, very skilled person, you have to understand that the ‘chinaman’ is a very rare breed and he chose that as his profession, and he’s someone who’s been very, very successful,” the wicketkeeper batsman said.

Both Kuldeep and Karthik played for KKR in the same season. However, Karthik was an integral part of the squad during Kuldeep’s turbulent season where he was on the bench most of the time. Karthik praised the wrist-spinner for his return to form.

“And it’s great to see someone like him doing so well because he was very young when he first appeared on the scene, but today, after a certain amount of international cricket and IPL behind him, he obviously went through a tough time, you can see how he bounced back and I give him a lot of credit,” he said.
