IPL 2022 | Internet reacts as fan breaches Eden Gardens security to meet Virat Kohli
Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli is one of the most beloved cricketers in modern cricket and fans are going crazy just to catch a glimpse of him. During the qualifier, an Eden Gardens fan briefly breached security as he attempted to meet Virat Kohli on the pitch as the crowd went wild at Eden Gardens.
The game between Bangalore Royal Challengers and Lucknow Super Giants will be long remembered. RCB managed to beat LSG by 14 points in the eliminator to reach the second qualifier where they will play against Rajasthani Royals. Rajat Patidar was the star of the game as he scored 112 points which set the tone for RCB in the second half of the game. LSG were on the hunt and at one point it looked like they would be chasing with KL Rahul playing the role of anchor during its innings. But, after his wicket, it was RCB all the way as they knocked out LSG from IPL 2022.
Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli was lively throughout the match and was delighted after his team’s victory. However, in an incident that has gone viral on social media, it appears the fan breached Gardens of Eden security and jumped over the fence to encounter Virat Kohli who was standing on the edge during the final of the match. Virat Kohli was seen telling the fan not to come near him and he started laughing as he turned to the crowd as security took the fan away.
