Arshdeep Singh was arguably the best death specialist in IPL 2022 and he proved again on Tuesday against Gujarat Titans in game 48 of IPL 2022. It was the last round of the GT heats, and Arshdeep has threw a full throw at the stumps to clean up Sai Sudharsan, which was fine as a free kick.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) limited Gujarat Titans (GT) to 143.8 in Game 48 of IPL 2022 at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. It was a disciplined bowling performance by the PBKS bowlers, who took to the field after Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat.
Arshdeep Singh, who was considered the best death specialist in IPL 2022, is once again in the spotlight. Although Arshdeep only had one wicket, he threw consecutive runs to end the innings. However, Sai Sudharsan, who was on strike, took a single on the last ball without touching the ball.
The penultimate ball was a free kick for Sudarshan, who was called after Mayank Agarwal went with three players inside the circle. But no damage was done as Arshdeep threw a full throw at the stumps. Sudarshan tried to tilt the bat, but failed to connect. As a result, he shook off the stumps and found himself in the form of a dot ball.
What a shot!
He was brilliant!

You have to give it to @PunjabKingsIPL for trusting Arshdeep Singh and holding him back. I hope the batting line-up will support his good performance with the ball tonight, unlike the previous game. #PBKSvGT
