After shutting out in his first two outings, hopefully Jonny Bairstow will produce a round of substance against SRH in PBKS’ season opener. SRH’s tailors have a good chance of breaking up Punjab’s opening partnership, and Bairstow could find themselves in the power-play crease. Expect him to catch up in the first two games with a good score.

As for the uncapped transfer, I am bringing in Arshdeep Singh to join other uncapped boosters Umran Malik and Vaibhav Arora. Arshdeep’s bowling to the death played a huge role in PBKS’ success in defending totals, but he didn’t pick up enough wickets to prove it. He could pick up wickets in this game.

While I would have liked to retain Maxwell over Du Plessis, I have to retain the latter since I am not transferring into a hitter. With DC not playing for the next five games, Rishabh Pant makes way.

I will have 4.5 credits in the bank after making these transfers.

IPL 2022 Fantasy Team for Match 28 – PBKS vs SRH

With six players in this game, I expect the high scoring streak to continue on Sunday. Uncapped players on both sides have stepped up to produce strong performances and cannot be taken lightly.

However, my faith rests primarily with experienced international campaigners Jonny Bairstow and Kane Williamson. After the duo’s no-shows in their respective last matches, I’m hoping for a return to form in this one.
