IND vs SA | WATCH: Virat Kohli spotted chatting with players from South Africa after surviving DRS exam

Indian team captain Virat Kohli was spotted chatting with South African players during the ongoing Cape Test after surviving a call taken from behind. Kohli missed the Johannesburg game after suffering a back spasm before the game, and KL Rahul led the visitors in the second test.

The Indian team chose to strike first after winning the draw in the third and final test of the three-game series in Cape Town. KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal, who has shown brilliant batting performances in the last two matches of the current test series, left early before lunch. Rahul (12) fell to Duanne Olivier in the 12th, while Mayank (15) started in the next whole, knocked down by Kagiso Rabada.

Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara anchored the heats in session one after India got off to a bad start on day one of the Cape test. Pujara (43) looked confident with the bat, but the middle-order batsman fell to Marco Jansen in the 38th. Ajinkya Rahane, who came out at bat after Pujara’s sacking, managed just nine points and was sacked on the cheap.

During India’s 52nd batting inning, there was a huge call taken behind Kohli by Duanne Oliver’s ball, and the Proteas wicket keeper looked confident. Slow-mo reruns confirmed a gap between the ball and the bat, and Kohli was ruled undisturbed. Shortly after the decision, the Indian captain was seen chatting with opposition players.
