IND versus SL 2022 | Twitter reacts as India beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets to win series 3-0

India beat Sri Lanka in Dharamshala to complete the visitors’ blank after a full display from the hosts. The Indian bowlers performed brilliantly against Sri Lanka’s best order as they continued to pick wickets regularly to ensure the visitors couldn’t post a big score.

India beat Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I of the series to complete the visitors’ blank. Rohit Sharma had won the toss and opted to bowl in the final game of the series. India had lined up four changes as Mohammed Siraj, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Yadav in Dharamsala on Sunday. All the bowlers rose to the occasion and seized the opportunity with both hands as they did not allow Sri Lanka to post a big total.

Avesh Khan took two wickets for 23 runs in his four overs quota. Mohammed Siraj, Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel scalped a wicket each. For Sri Lanka Dasun Shanaka their captain was again the only warrior with the bat as he scored 74 on 38 balls, including 9 fours and two sixes with a 194.73 strike rate to help his team reach 146/5.

India came hunting and opened with Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson. Sanju Samson opened the sleeves because Ichan Kishan was ruled out due to injury. However, Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson didn’t make much of an impact and went out early in the innings.

It was once again Shreyas Iyer who performed brilliantly as he marked his third half-century in the series. Shreyas Iyer’s shot helped India easily beat Sri Lanka. Iyer scored an undefeated 73 runs from 45 balls, including 9 boundary and a six with a 162.22 strike rate. India won their 12th match on the trot which is a massive record in the shortest format of the match.
