The all-rounder is back at bat at number 5 for India and has done well in that position so far. While talking about the same, Hardik Pandya claimed that he “always enjoyed the role of finisher”.

“I’ve always enjoyed that (finisher) role. Where I’m hitting and what I’m doing you have to really enjoy the situation, for me I kind of enjoy the challenge that comes with it because it’s not easy to swing from ball one or ball two. For me, it comes naturally. I like the challenge,” Hardik Pandya said in a chat with Star Sports.

The versatile player was also asked about his bowling which he said he would always be there to play a few overs for his team.

“Obviously it’s important, whenever my team requires it, I’ll always be there to bowl a few overs. We play with six bowlers, it’s important in T20 cricket that you have six bowling options.”

India will play the last T20I of the series in Bangalore on Sunday in hopes of winning the series against Proteas.
