Veterans, whatever sport they play, step up whenever their teams need it most. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, one of India’s workhorses, did the same on Sunday in their second T20I against South Africa taking three wickets inside Powerplay, and the latest was Rassie van der Dussen.
India came on to defend a respectable 149 against South Africa on Sunday in the second T20I of the five-game series on a slow, low track at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. But their bowling unit, led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, gave them a good start. As a result, South Africa could only reach 36/3 after eight overs.
All three wickets were taken by Bhuvneshwar, who netted three excellent overs in the Powerplay. The last came in the sixth round of innings at the time of writing, when Bhuvneshwar’s backing was left unchosen by Rassie van der Dussen, who scored the top scorer for South Africa in the opener. from the Serie. The ball, after missing the inside edge, then shook the top of the stump. With that, van der Dussen fell for just one after playing seven deliveries.
Notably, Bhuvneshwar’s numbers are also excellent, returning 3-0-10-3.

It looks so easy!
Bhuvneshwar Kumar swinging the ball back and forth from an undriveable length. Beautiful. How’s the body, Bhuvi? Fancy a red ball match on July 1st? If only!

Wow! Look at these numbers!
Bhuvneshwar Kumar your beauty! 🙌 He makes swinging the ball look so easy! One of the best sights in cricket is seeing an inswinging delivery cross the gap between the bat and the pad to hit the stumps. 🤌 #INDvsSA #CricketTwitter
